If you’re thinking that the only thing worse than feeling as miserable as you feel is telling a stranger about it…I understand.

Counseling can be scary, but I am committed to making the process of getting started as painless as possible. My goal is not to make you cry (although that happens) or to dig up every past hurt (although those come up to). I will give you tons of resources as we go at your pace. In the process, you just might discover that you are stronger than you think and there is more hope for you than you ever thought possible!

My counseling style is relatable and focused on the client’s goals. I am a trauma-informed therapist and I take your story seriously, but I also believe that laughter is good medicine.  I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and many other modalities to serve your needs.

I work with individuals and couples, and I see clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, insecurity, and many other struggles. If you are struggling with boundaries in relationships, self-care, or feelings of shame…I can help.

While I am fascinated by the latest research in neuroscience and counseling, I am also firmly rooted in the Word of God, and I am happy to integrate a biblical worldview into counseling for those who desire it. Outside of the therapy office I enjoy reading, connecting with friends, and spending time with my family. I can make just about anything gluten-free and I believe that chocolate is its own food group (and should be eaten every day).
