“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."
– Viktor Frankl

What is most important is to not control your feelings, but instead control how you respond to those feelings. So don’t just FEEL better…BE better.

In addition to my Master's Degree and being licensed with the state of Arizona, I am an ordained pastor. I am experienced in trauma and hold Level 1 and Level 2 training in EMDR, Level 1 Sensorimotor, Attachment, and Psychodrama. I also have experience with couples and hold Level 1 and Level 2 of Gottman training as well as EFT training. I’ve received training in Sandtray therapy with previous experience in crisis, grief, pre-marital, and am experienced in a variety of ailments including depression, anxiety, codependency and more.

I have also worked at an in-patient PTSD facility as the Primary Therapist where I did individual and group sessions with residents with severe PTSD.

I also work with companies/organizations to better the mental health of their employees as well as consult with executive teams on company culture. I am also a Ph.D. student at GCU for Organizational and Industrial Psychology.

Because of my faith in Jesus I fully desire to integrate my clinical training with the gospel for clients who request it. I truly believe that we are not defined by our wounds and that there is true healing through refinement, redemption, and reconciliation. No matter where we are in this life journey, it is my hope that we can see that the story isn't over yet and we can write the future chapters that we want our life story to be. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families and hope that I can be a safe place for you. Outside of work you can find me enjoying the woods around a good campfire, playing music, eating bacon, watching football and hockey, or writing my next book. Oh, and P.S. John Mayer is the best guitar player in the world.
